Vanadzor Spa and Hotel complex has a long history and traditions which was founded in 1930. The
total land area is 80,000 square meters where a number of hotel and medical facilities are available.
Treatment is provided only with natural methods by using its own spring of mineral water “Lori” and
unique mud therapy “Fioletovo” which is the only one inArmenia
accommodation of different types (standard, deluxe) for its customers. Both single and double suits
have cold and hot water supply, heating system, TV, refrigerator, phone and WiFi internet connection.
Budget suits are also available.
Cooperation proposal
Objectives: To reconstruct the promising “Vanadzor Sanatorium” (Spa & Hotel) for providing excellent
services, and for marketing as a sole spa in wide region based on unique peat and mineral water
treatment. After renovation all-season 4-star Hotel and Spa will be operating.
The sanatorium is located in Vanadzor city, Lori marz (region) ofArmenia 1350 m above sea level.
The city is considered to be one of the most picturesque surroundings inArmenia
mountainous landscape. The Sanatorium is located in spectacular natural beauty and nestled in the
forest near the center of the city. A river flows along the whole territory, and artificial lake, sports
ground, and a church next to the territory. Mild climate all year long: The annual average temperature
is +9ÚC (+22ÚC in summer, -4ÚC in winter). • Located at110 km from Yerevan • Distance from
Zvartnots International airport -110 km • Distance from Shirak (Gyumri) International airport - 60 km .
1) The Spa Hotel offers the unique combined services: spa treatment, hotel services, and different
tours (architectural, historical, ethnical, etc.)
2) The Spa Hotel is the sole one inArmenia

well. There are also other natural treatments as well: 18 spa treatments and 4 diagnostics.
3) Treatment Packages: Nervous system, Bone-Muscular system, Digestive Apparatus, Circulation
System, Urogenital System, Gynecology (female sterility - atocia), Metabolic and Endocrine System,
Allergo-Immunologic. Each patient undergoes a thorough consultation prior to making his or her
prescriptions. The patient can describe any problems, needs and goals they wish to achieve.
Vanadzor Sanatorium was privatized in 2005. Since that time some investment has been already
made. Particularly investment flows have been directed to construction and renovation of existing
facilities and infrastructure. Besides furniture and equipment has been obtained as well for hotel suits
and other facilities. For instance “Tairov” hotel building with 14 suits for 25 people has been fully
reconstructed and furnished.
Development of Vanadzor Sanatorium is proposed to be done in two scenarios depending on the
investor’s demand and capacity. After the renovation the Spa Hotel will be operating all-season.
