Polikat S.A. is the biggest Polish producer of springing slats. It also
offers bent and glued plywood components and flat plywood. Its
commercial offer also includes veneers of flat cut and face veneers
of rotary cut made of beech,birch and other types of wood. Produc-
tion process takes place on different machines like: Raute,Capital
and Cremona veneer slicers,Schilde and Babcock dryers,Cremona
and Orma presses. The production has been expanded and now cus-
tomers can find veneer formats (for contact gluing),which are made
on modern machines made by Fisher-Rückle. The factory is located
in south-east Poland,where the largest concentration of beech wood
